Asian Wildlife: pictures of amur tigers

These pictures of tigers are siberian or Amur tigers and are captive wildlife models. Meet Texaco from Montana who loves to perform for raw chicken treats. The other photos of tigers are of Taiga and Amba from the Edmonton Valley Zoo. It took me a while to be able to tell Taiga and Amba apart, but now I can see distinct differences. For example, Taiga is in tiger picture 12 while Amba is in 13, 14, 15 and 16. 

Tiger pictures of an animal in an enclosure like the ones at the zoo are challenging to get. To get good tiger photos, I would turn my back to them. When they ran toward me, I would turn around to take their picture. I have yet to get any good pictures of tiger cubs or photos of white tigers, but I sure hope to some day.
