This year we only saw one cub and a mom. In fact throughout the season the sightings were only of three single cubs which is rare. Usually we see twins and maybe one set of triplets somewhere throughout the season. This year was a difficult year. The winds blew the snow away which made for difficult tracking. The trackers and researchers just didn't see many bears at all coming out of the dens and heading toward the Bay this season.
